Maritime Security Agency has SAR (Search and Rescue) facilities, for both commercial and sport anglers.

If you call from a SATCOM (Satellite Phone), use 009221

Have your Coordinates ready, Longitude and Latitude

If you don’t have a GPS, try keeping a compass, and if you can see land, give them some idea of where you are etc.

They can help with engine breakdowns, etc.

If it is a true emergency, and you are taking water, call them and tell them that you are in water and don't have a raft, anywhere from a boat in the area, to a fast boat from Navy, or a Helicopter can be sent to save you.
